Dog(s) might have eaten ate something they shouldn't have, help!?

so i have two labradors. today they were outside and i went over to them and found that there appeared to be part of this old corncob chewed up. it was dry and brittle, so if chewed it's quite possible it was in small pieces, and wouldn't result in a problem. it's also possible that they didn't even eat any of it, or that only one of them did. we called the vet and asked what to do, and they said to induce vomiting for both of them, so we did, and they vomited. is there anything else we should do/be worried about? are there any similar stories? the vet said if there was a problem it would be an "obstruction" or something like that, and they said just to look out for lethargy. which isn't easy because they're lazy anyway.

Im calling for all Softball outfielders(HELP)

Alright so im going out for the position of outfielder.I do alright catching the or whatever but when it comes to having a strong arm and making the throw into infield my throws dont reach.My daddy says he doesnt understand how my arms are so toned but i dont seem to be throwing the ball with enough force to make the cut. R/b/y were good but lacked a lot, but fire red and leaf green were better. G/s/c great games. Added many new pokemon, features, and revolutionized pokemon. Hg and ss just added to that. R/s/e kind of fun, but lacked some, also, some of the pokemon were crappy, if they remake them they will probably be really good. D/p/pt were fun, but way too easy. But it did bring back things like the day and night system. B/w had some really stupid pokemon, but had some really cool ones and much better graphics. Also it had the best storyline since crystal. I have to say the best is either hg/ss or b/w just because the were so fun.

I'm starting to watch more anime, what should I watch?

I haven't watched very much anime before but I would like to get more into it. I think my 1 1/2 year old shetland sheepdog has separation anxiety. He follows me everywhere I go, and when I leave he gets very depressed. My intentions are purely medical. Women have lower mortality and higher longevity than men. May be simply because many are somewhat more self-conscious about their weight than men. And believe me, smoking is no longer the number one killer, its obesity. So, it is of concern. CDC reports are too scary, if you see them. On the other hand, media and society in general are becoming more OK with weight problems. Its must that we be OK with overweight people, but why accept the problem? Feel like im loosing weight, but don't see it?

Well, it could mean that you are losing pounds, however, muscle does weigh more than fat. I know that when lifting weights, it may seem that you should be losing weight however you are building it up and gaining more weight. I usually shoot for notches in the belt, rather than pounds. I think that although you don't immediately see results such as all around body you will get there. I know when I lost a bunch of weight my face was the last to get "skinny." I think that if you keep on you will find great results. I would highly recommend some exercise, even if it is an extra few minutes on a treadmill or walking around your block. I know that the walking at work is great, but you can't solely rely on that to loose your weight. Eventually, you will find that your weight or look with plateau, in this case you need to add more physical exercise.

Help! My moms a hoarder and we have a big project to clean her home. Advice please?

My mom was a vibrant full of life happy person a few years back. She started hoarding a little after the divorce from my dad about 12 years ago. With ups and downs with depression, she finaly got back on her feet. Well these past 3 years she has gotten very ill. She suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, fibro myalgia and has a herniated disk in her back. I have a busy fast paced life with my husband and 3 kids so dont have much time to help my mother out even though we live a city apart. She has a beautiful home but started hoarding so much, she had to move out. She moved to an apartment and we barley got that cleaned up recently with some more hoarding she had done. I dont know where to start. My daughter and I went to her old home this past weekend and saw it at its worst. The home is abandoned and we cant even walk into it with all the clutter. The power went off about 2 weeks ago and we just found out her old fridge had food that was 3 years old in there which has now rotted in the heat. I am afraid to open the fridge and find a bacterial disaster. There is no running water either. I want to start cleaning it out now. I have decided to buy face masks and gloves, and maybe wear long sleeves when we go in. What other precautions should we take and how do we start this clean up project? We dont have the money to get a huge dumpster out there or a specialist. I would like to keep her furniture that has been sitting there but is it salvagable. I have been through some of this with my son. Try maybe a transition bed. Like if you have a pack and play to set it up in your room right next to your bed where you can have a hand on her. If that works give it a week or two and move her across the room. If that still continues to work move it into her room and eventually move her back to her crib. For whatever reason she just doesn't want to be in there right now. Don't force it and do the CIO every night. That will stress you out and make you upset which she will pick up on. Just try something different and see what works for her. If nothing else will do, just keep doing what you are doing now and try once a week to move her to her crib. It will happen one day. The Russians jumped at the first opportunity they had (South Ossetia). That was the Russians excuse to invade Georgia. They said they supported South Ossetian Independence. Sure maybe they wanted to annex Georgia and make them a part of Russia again,but whatever reason why they didn't want Georgia to be a member of N.A.T.O. So they invaded and sent a message to the west. They made it very clear that they were in charge of their region. I personally support Georgia becoming a member of N.A.T.O. I don't like it when bullys(Russia) pick on our friends(Georgia).
