Amex hotel reward cards. Hilton or Starwood?

I am debating between the hilton honors and starwood preferred card by amex. Starwood has better hotel properties, but the hilton card gives more points for purchases. I spend around 10K - 12K a year on my amex. Which card would be better. Also, if you have one of these cards, please let me know how you like it.
