Activities for a 15 mth old?

I am a stay at home mum and really need some advice on how to spend productive with my 15mth old while teaching him. I realize that most of the time I do my stuff like cleaning and cooking and he just plays on his own and I find it very unproductive as I am a stay at home mum afterall and my boy should be my priority.
