Im in love with my best guy friend how do i let him know?

he says were best friends and we ALWAYS hang out after school. but i feel in compettion with another girl so i feel like i should give up on him its like a yoyo its like i like him then i dont like him then i dont i feel like i should give up but he always pulls me back.we were sitting one day by our selves and thes tow guys came an were like"oooooohhh!" and he pulled away from me:( then he asked me if i know it feels like to be hugged by a guy then he gave me a longcomfortable hug from behind like in a japanese anime :D leans on my shoulder alot and tells me everything but during cl he always talks about the other girl:( he always asks me what my dreams are and who i like and i just want to yell out "ITS YOU!!" but i chicken out he says he has a crush on many girls and i know i one of them help me!!!
