Gles question?

I know that Lenscrafters is expensive. However, does a place like that offer anything extra, as far as thinner lenses, that another place would not? I'm extremely nearsighted so thinner lenses and anti reflective coating are both important to me. I just want to get the best gles that I can with my prescription.
